Ingredients
  

12 ounces fresh cranberries

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup water

1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)

Zest of 1 orange

Juice of 1 orange

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

Rinse the fresh cranberries under cold water, removing any stems or blemished cranberries.

    In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

      Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes, until the cranberries start to burst.

        Add the mixed berries, orange zest, orange juice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the saucepan.

          Simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.

            Remove from heat and let it cool, the sauce will thicken more as it cools.

              Transfer to a serving dish or jar and refrigerate until ready to serve.
