Ingredients
  

2 cups sliced fresh strawberries

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 cup whipped cream

1 cup vanilla pudding

1/2 cup crushed graham crackers

1 cup angel food cake, cubed

Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with granulated sugar. Let sit for 15 minutes to allow the strawberries to release their juices.

    In a trifle dish or large bowl, layer half of the cubed angel food cake at the bottom.

      Add half of the prepared pudding over the cake layer.

        Spoon half of the whipped cream over the pudding layer.

          Pour half of the sweetened strawberries over the whipped cream.

            Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients: cake, pudding, whipped cream, and strawberries.

              Finish off with a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers on top for added texture.

                Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
