Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by rinsing the shrimp and asparagus. Trim the asparagus to desired lengths and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger together. Set this mixture aside.

Cook the Asparagus: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the asparagus and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Add the Shrimp: Push the asparagus to one side of the skillet and add the shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, flipping the shrimp until they're pink and opaque.

Combine and Sauce: Pour the prepared sauce over the shrimp and asparagus, stirring to coat everything evenly. Cook for another minute, allowing it to warm through.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately over rice or noodles if desired.
