Ingredients
  

1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 cups heavy whipping cream

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 package (12 oz) ladyfinger cookies or sponge cake

1 cup vanilla pudding (store-bought or homemade)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

    In a trifle dish or a large glass bowl, layer half of the ladyfinger cookies or sponge cake at the bottom.

      Spoon half of the vanilla pudding over the cookies, followed by half of the sliced strawberries.

        Spread half of the whipped cream over the strawberries.

          Repeat the layers with the remaining cookies, pudding, strawberries, and whipped cream.

            Garnish the top layer with fresh strawberries and mint leaves.

              Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
