Ingredients
  

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup cream cheese, softened

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)

1 tablespoon milk (for frosting)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

      In another bowl, cream the butter and cream cheese until smooth.

        Add eggs and vanilla extract to the cream mixture and beat until well combined.

          Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

            Gently fold in the diced strawberries.

              Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

                Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

                  Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

                    For the frosting, whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled bread before serving.
