Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast

½ cup warm milk (110°F)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup strawberries, diced

1/2 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)

2 tbsp milk (for frosting)

1 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, and salt.

Add the melted butter, egg, yeast mixture, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for an hour.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape. Spread softened cream cheese evenly over the surface, sprinkle diced strawberries on top.

Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other and slice into rolls.

Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

While the rolls are baking, prepare the frosting by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Drizzle the frosting over the warm rolls before serving.
