Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp salt

Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Begin by marinating the pork chops in buttermilk for at least 1 hour (overnight for best results) in the refrigerator.

In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.

Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Remove pork chops from buttermilk, letting the excess drip off, and coat each chop in the seasoned flour mixture, pressing to adhere.

Carefully place the coated chops into the hot oil, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.

Fry the chops for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

Drain on paper towels before serving.
