Ingredients
  

1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1 cup of buttermilk

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

1 teaspoon of onion powder

1 teaspoon of paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup of all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon of baking powder

Vegetable oil for frying

Mini waffles (store-bought or homemade)

Maple syrup for drizzling

Optional: Pickles for an added crunch

In a bowl, combine the buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken thighs, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for better flavor.

    In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess buttermilk to drip off, then dredge it in the flour mixture until fully coated.

      Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken thighs for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on a paper towel.

        Toast or warm mini waffles in a skillet or toaster.

          Assemble the sliders by placing a piece of chicken between two mini waffles. Drizzle with maple syrup and add pickles, if desired.
