Ingredients
  

1 pound smoked sausage, sliced

1 cup long grain rice

2 cups chicken broth

1 bell pepper, diced

1 onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup frozen peas

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

    Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 3-4 minutes.

      Stir in the rice, chicken broth, paprika, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.

        Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.

          Stir in the frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

            Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
