Ingredients

1 ½ cups crushed Oreo cookies

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cups cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup sour cream

½ cup red velvet cake mix

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Additional Oreo cookies for topping

Red velvet cake crumbs for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).

In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to create the crust.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, mixing well until combined.

Add the sour cream, red velvet cake mix, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat the mixture on medium speed until it’s creamy and well combined.

Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50–60 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.

Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for about an hour.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Once chilled, remove from the springform pan, top with crushed Oreo cookies and red velvet cake crumbs for decoration.

                      Slice, serve, and enjoy!
