Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon butterbeer flavoring (or butterscotch syrup)

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1 cup butterscotch chips

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla extract and butterbeer flavoring, mixing well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

Gently fold in blueberries and butterscotch chips.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden. The centers will look soft; they will firm up as they cool.

Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
