Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter

2 cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 cup fresh raspberries (or frozen, thawed)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.

Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.

Drop dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter, followed by the remaining brownie batter.

Swirl raspberry and cream cheese mixture using a knife or skewer to create a marbled effect.

Scatter the fresh raspberries on top and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes.

Allow brownies to cool before cutting them into squares and serving.
