Ingredients
  

1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree

1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk

3 large eggs

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 box (18.25 oz) yellow cake mix

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until smooth.

      Pour the pumpkin mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

        Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the pumpkin layer, covering it completely.

          Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top of the cake mix.

            Drizzle the melted butter over the entire surface.

              Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the cake is set and golden brown.

                Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with whipped cream or ice cream!
