Ingredients

1 ½ cups pumpkin puree

1 cup heavy cream

¾ cup packed brown sugar

½ cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

½ teaspoon ground ginger

½ teaspoon salt

1 unbaked pie crust

1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped

½ cup mini marshmallows (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, heavy cream, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt until smooth.

Carefully pour the pumpkin mixture into the unbaked pie crust.

Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the top of the pie mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 40-45 minutes, or until the pie is set and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

If desired, add mini marshmallows on top during the last 5 minutes of baking for a toasted effect.

Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
