Ingredients

1 1/2 cups pecan halves

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 pre-baked pie crust

Chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Spread the pecan halves onto a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 8-10 minutes until golden and fragrant. Allow to cool.

In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until soft peaks form. Set aside.

In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently until fully combined.

Pour the pecan halves onto the bottom of the pre-baked pie crust, spreading them evenly.

Carefully spoon the cream cheese mixture over the pecans and smooth the top with a spatula.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Before serving, add whipped cream on top and sprinkle with chocolate shavings for garnish.
