Ingredients

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

4 cups mini marshmallows

3 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup red candy melts

1/4 cup white candy melts

1/4 cup blue candy melts

Optional: Star-shaped sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.

Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until evenly coated.

Divide the mixture into three equal portions in separate bowls.

Melt the red, white, and blue candy melts in separate bowls according to package instructions.

Mix a portion of the Rice Krispies into the red candy melts until well coated, spread it into a greased baking dish and press down firmly.

Repeat the process for the white and blue candy melts with the other portions of Rice Krispies.

Once all layers are set, cut into squares or fun shapes. Decorate with star-shaped sprinkles if desired.

Allow to cool completely before serving.
