Ingredients
  

12 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup fresh orange juice

Zest from 1 orange

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

Rinse the cranberries under cold water and remove any stems or bruised berries.

    In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon, ginger, and salt.

      Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

        Once boiling, reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes or until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.

          Remove from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature. It will thicken more as it cools.

            Serve warm or chilled, and enjoy your festive cranberry sauce!
