Ingredients

2 cups of jasmine rice

1 lb (450g) chicken thighs, boneless and skinless

Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant and translucent.

Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them to the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

In a bowl, mix together honey and BBQ sauce. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the skillet.

Stir in the jasmine rice, ensuring it's evenly coated with the sauce.

Pour in the chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes or until the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through.

Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
