Ingredients

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup powdered sugar

8 oz cream cheese, softened

2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

4 ripe bananas, sliced

1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained

1 cup strawberries, sliced

1 cup chocolate syrup

1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Stir until well combined and the mixture resembles wet sand. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form an even crust.

Make the cream layer: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until well blended.

Layer the cake: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust. Top with sliced bananas and drained crushed pineapple, spreading them evenly.

Add more layers: Spread the remaining whipped topping over the fruit layer. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with chopped walnuts if desired.

Chill: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best flavor and texture.

Serve: Before serving, add freshly sliced strawberries and garnish with maraschino cherries on top. Slice into squares and enjoy this perfect summer dessert!
