Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

3 large eggs

1 cup water

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup vanilla pudding mix

1 cup milk

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and water; beat until smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Using a fork, poke holes all over the cake.

In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, pudding mix, and milk until thickened.

Pour the pudding mixture over the warm cake, making sure it seeps into the holes.

In a saucepan, melt the chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract together until smooth.

Pour the chocolate mixture over the pudding layer, spreading it evenly.

Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Before serving, top with whipped cream and enjoy!
