Ingredients

2 cups of water

2 green tea bags

1 cup of fresh blueberries

2 tablespoons of honey (or sweetener of choice)

Juice of 1 lemon

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Let steep for about 3-5 minutes.

While the tea is steeping, in a blender, combine the fresh blueberries and honey. Blend until smooth and strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove skins.

Once the tea is ready, remove the tea bags and let it cool.

Mix the cooled green tea with the blueberry puree and lemon juice. Stir well.

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the blueberry green tea mixture over the ice.

Garnish with fresh mint leaves and additional blueberries if desired. Serve immediately.
