1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup fresh peaches, diced

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)

Fresh peach slices and honey for garnish

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

    In a bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

      In another large bowl, cream the softened butter until fluffy. Add in the eggs and vanilla, mixing thoroughly.

        Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the sour cream, and mix until just combined.

          Fold in the diced peaches gently to keep their shape.

            Distribute the batter evenly into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.

              Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.

                In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and the additional vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

                  Once the cupcakes are cool, frost them generously with the cream cheese frosting.
