Ingredients

1 cup honey

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup sour cream

1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl, beat together the honey, granulated sugar, and butter until creamy.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the honey mixture, alternating with the sour cream, and mix until well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

For the frosting, beat the sour cream and powdered sugar together until smooth.

Once the cake is completely cooled, frost the top with the sour cream frosting.
