8 ounces linguine or spaghetti

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 ounces smoked sausage, sliced

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup spinach leaves

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté Shrimp and Sausage: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

      Make Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.

        Add Broth and Tomatoes: Pour in the chicken broth and add the cherry tomatoes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften.

          Combine Everything: Stir in the cooked pasta, shrimp, sausage, and spinach. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach is wilted and everything is heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
