Ingredients
  

1 cup mascarpone cheese

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Lemon slices for decoration (optional)

Instructions
 

In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and well blended.

    In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

      Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream.

        Spoon the mousse into serving dishes or glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.

          Before serving, garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices if desired.
