Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet active dry yeast (about 2 1/4 teaspoons)

1 cup warm milk (110°F)

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

1 cup cream cheese frosting (for drizzling)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.

Gradually add flour and knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

After rising, roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle (about 16x24 inches).

Spread melted butter over the surface, then sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts if using.

Roll the dough tightly from the longer side, then slice into 12 rolls.

Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Once baked, drizzle with cream cheese frosting before serving.

Prep Time: 30 min | Total Time: 2 hrs | Servings: 12 rolls
