1 box lemon cake mix

1/2 cup tequila

1/2 cup fresh lime juice

1/4 cup vegetable oil

3 large eggs

Zest of 1 lime

1 cup powdered sugar

2-3 tablespoons lime juice (for frosting)

Lime wedges and salt (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by greasing it lightly.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the lemon cake mix, tequila, lime juice, vegetable oil, eggs, and lime zest. Mix until smooth and well combined.

      Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread it evenly.

        Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

          Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

            In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar with lime juice until smooth. Adjust the consistency as needed with additional lime juice or sugar.
