Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)

1 cup snap peas or snow peas

3 green onions, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)

Instructions

Prep Ingredients: Start by slicing the bell pepper and green onions. Mince the garlic and ginger to have everything ready.

Cook Ground Turkey: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked thoroughly.

Add Vegetables: Once the turkey is cooked, add the sliced bell pepper, snap peas, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Stir-fry the mixture for about 3-4 minutes until the veggies are tender-crisp.

Add Sauces: Pour in the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to coat the turkey and vegetables evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Finish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over cooked rice or quinoa for a delightful meal.
