Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans), chopped

Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add in the vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.

Fold in the chopped nuts, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

Pour the batter into the greased pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow the dessert to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
