Ingredients

6 large croissants, sliced

1 cup orange marmalade

6 large eggs

1 cup milk

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

Zest of 1 orange

Powdered sugar (for serving)

Fresh orange slices (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Place the sliced croissants in the baking dish, spreading them out evenly.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and orange zest.

Pour the egg mixture over the croissants, making sure to coat them evenly.

Spoon orange marmalade on top of the croissants, spreading it out gently.

Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes, allowing the croissants to soak up the custard.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the custard is set.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh orange slices before serving.
