Ingredients

1 package of puff pastry sheets

4 cups of pastry cream (vanilla-flavored)

1 cup of powdered sugar

2 tablespoons of milk

Fresh strawberries or raspberries for garnish (optional)

Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.

Cut the pastry sheets into rectangles (4x6 inches each). Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Prick the pastry rectangles with a fork to prevent them from puffing too much. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

Prepare your pastry cream by whipping together the ingredients until smooth and thick.

Layer the baked pastry sheets: Start with one rectangle, spread a layer of pastry cream on top. Add another pastry piece, follow with cream again, and top with the last pastry rectangle.

For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth. Pour or spread the glaze over the top layer of the Mille-Feuille.

Decorate with fresh berries and a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
