Ingredients
  

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup light brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.

      Add in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.

        In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

          Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until fully combined.

            Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.

              Spread half of the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for about 15 minutes.

                Remove from the oven and drizzle on half of the caramel sauce.

                  Spread the remaining batter on top and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

                    Let cool and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce before slicing into bars.
