3 to 4 pounds beef chuck roast

1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)

1 medium onion, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup beef broth

8 to 12 sandwich buns

Optional Toppings: sliced pickles, coleslaw, shredded cheese

Instructions

Place the sliced onions in the bottom of the Crock-Pot.

In a small bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Rub the beef chuck roast with the spice mixture.

Place the roast on top of the onions in the Crock-Pot.

Pour the beef broth over the roast.

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender and shreds easily with a fork.

Once done, shred the beef directly in the Crock-Pot using two forks. Mix well with the sauce.

Serve the barbecue beef on sandwich buns and add optional toppings as desired.
