Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup water

2 tbsp unsalted butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)

1 tsp ground cinnamon

Cooking spray

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine water, butter, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Once boiling, remove from heat and add flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until a dough forms.

Allow the dough to cool slightly before adding the vanilla extract and kneading it slightly.

Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Using a piping bag or a plastic bag with a corner snipped off, pipe small bite-sized pieces onto a parchment-lined tray.

Spray the churro bites lightly with cooking spray.

Place the churro bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer and air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.

In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for coating.

Once done, immediately toss the churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture until well coated.

                    Serve warm and enjoy!
