8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

    In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and butter.

      Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

        Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove the shrimp and set aside.

          In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

            Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the sauce, tossing to combine well.
