2 chicken breasts

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup pesto sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Optional: cherry tomatoes for added color!

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

    Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

      Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and pesto sauce, stirring to combine.

        Add Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.

          Combine: Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the creamy pesto sauce. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.

            Garnish and Serve: Top with fresh basil leaves and serve with cherry tomatoes if desired.
