1 cup water

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

4 large eggs

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fresh berries (for decoration)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a medium saucepan, bring the water and butter to a boil over medium heat.

      Stir in the flour and salt until a dough forms. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.

        Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the dough is smooth and glossy.

          Drop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

            Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. Allow them to cool completely on a wire rack.

              In a medium bowl, whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

                Once the puffs are cool, cut them in half and fill with the whipped cream.

                  Top with fresh berries and the other half of the puff, then add a dusting of powdered sugar for an extra touch.
