Cocktail sauce is a classic condiment typically associated with seafood, particularly shrimp. Its vibrant flavor profile comes from the harmonious blend of sweet, tangy, and spicy elements that complement the natural brininess of seafood. While it is often served chilled, its versatility allows it to be used as a dip for vegetables, a spread on sandwiches, or even as a glaze for grilled meats.
