--

Instructions

Prepare Cabbage: Bring a large pot of water to boil. Carefully remove the core of the cabbage, then place the whole head in the boiling water for about 2-3 minutes to soften the leaves. Carefully peel off the leaves and set aside.

Make Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Wrap Rolls: Take a cabbage leaf, place about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture at the base of the leaf, and roll tightly, tucking in the sides as you go. Repeat for all leaves and filling.

Prepare Sauce: In a saucepan, combine tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and a pinch of salt. Heat until warm.

Assemble Cabbage Rolls: Spread a layer of sauce on the bottom of a large baking dish. Place the cabbage rolls seam side down in the dish. Pour the remaining sauce over the top.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 1.5 hours, until the meat is cooked and the cabbage is tender.

Serve: Allow to cool slightly, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
