Ingredients

6 cinnamon rolls (store-bought or homemade)

2 cups milk

1 cup heavy cream

4 large eggs

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional: icing from the cinnamon rolls or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Cut the cinnamon rolls into small bite-sized pieces and place them evenly in the greased dish.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces, ensuring they are fully covered. Gently press down to help the bread absorb the liquid.

Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes, allowing the bread to soak up the custard.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.

If you're using icing, drizzle it over the warm bread pudding before serving, or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
