Ingredients

8 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), chopped

1 cup heavy cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt

Fresh fruits for dipping (strawberries, bananas, pineapple, apple slices, mandarin oranges)

Optional: Marshmallows, graham crackers, or pretzel sticks for extra dippers

Instructions

Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chopped dark chocolate and heavy cream. Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Add Flavoring: Once the chocolate is melted, remove it from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt for flavor enhancement.

Prepare Dipping Station: While the chocolate mixture cools slightly, wash and cut your fresh fruits into bite-sized pieces. Arrange them on a platter with optional dippers like marshmallows and pretzel sticks.

Transfer to Fondue Pot: Pour the warm chocolate mixture into a fondue pot or a heatproof bowl. If using a fondue pot, keep it warm according to manufacturer instructions.

Dip and Enjoy: Use fondue forks or skewers to dip your fresh fruits and optional dippers into the luscious warm chocolate. Enjoy the delightful combination of flavors!

Tip for Serving: You can add a light sprinkle of sea salt or finely chopped nuts on the chocolate-dipped fruits for extra crunch and flavor.
