Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced

4 cups green cabbage, shredded

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 cup carrots, julienned

2 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, grated

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts in a single layer and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add a bit more oil if necessary. Sauté minced garlic and grated ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add julienned carrots and sliced red bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

Toss in the shredded cabbage and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the cabbage wilts but still retains some crunch.

Return the cooked chicken to the pan. Pour soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil over the stir-fry. Mix well and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.

Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
