Ingredients

1 box of vanilla cake mix

3 large eggs

1 cup of water

1 cup of strawberry gelatin

1 cup of boiling water

1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced

1 cup of whipped topping

1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk

Optional: Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch rectangular baking pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, eggs, and water. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

While the cake is baking, prepare the strawberry gelatin by dissolving it in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir well and set aside.

Once the cake is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for about 15 minutes.

Poke holes all over the top of the cake using the end of a wooden spoon or a fork.

Slowly pour the prepared strawberry gelatin over the cake, allowing it to fill the holes.

Let the cake cool completely in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, allowing the gelatin to set.

In a bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled cake.

Top with fresh strawberries and optionally, garnish with mint leaves.

Slice, serve, and enjoy your delightful strawberry poke cake!
