Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Freshly chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.

Place the chicken thighs in a zip-lock bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the top. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If using a grill, oil the grates.

Remove the chicken from the marinade (discard the marinade) and place the chicken on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and let it rest for a few minutes.

Slice the chicken, drizzle with any remaining honey if desired, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
