Ingredients
  

2 cups of penne pasta

1 pound ground beef

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water and cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

      Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

        Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.

          In a large bowl, combine the cooked penne, beef mixture, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix well to combine.

            Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.

              Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

                Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
