Ingredients

8 ounces of spaghetti

1 pound ground beef or turkey

1 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped parsley

1 egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.

In a skillet, brown the meatballs on medium heat until they are golden on all sides; about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.

In a baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, then half of the marinara sauce, followed by half of the meatballs. Repeat the layers and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your comfort food masterpiece!
