Baked Chicken Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients
  

3 cups cooked and shredded chicken

9 lasagna noodles

2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups spinach (fresh or frozen)

2 cups marinara sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.

      In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

        In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.

          Place three lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.

            Layer half of the chicken mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of spinach, and then a layer of mozzarella cheese.

              Repeat with another layer of noodles, remaining chicken mixture, another layer of spinach, marinara sauce, and mozzarella.

                Place the last three noodles on top and spread the remaining marinara sauce over them. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

                  Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes.

                    Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

                      Let it cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve hot.
