Ingredients
  

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

9 lasagna noodles

2 cups ricotta cheese

1 egg

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cups marinara sauce

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

    In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.

      Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.

        Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.

          Add a third of the shredded chicken and a layer of the ricotta mixture.

            Sprinkle a third of the mozzarella cheese over the ricotta.

              Repeat layers (sauce, noodles, chicken, ricotta, mozzarella) two more times.

                Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and leftover mozzarella.

                  Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until bubbly and golden.

                    Let it cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh basil, and serve.
