Ingredients

1 large round Brie cheese

1 bread bowl (sourdough or whole grain)

1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)

Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)

Baguette slices or crackers (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Carefully slice the top rind off the Brie cheese, exposing the creamy inside.

Place the Brie in the center of the bread bowl.

Spoon cranberry sauce over the Brie, spreading it evenly.

Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves and brown sugar (if using) over the cranberry sauce.

Add a few cracks of black pepper for an extra zing.

Place the bread bowl on a baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve warm with baguette slices or crackers for dipping.
